Respite Care

We offer a helping hand to those caring for a relative with dementia. Registered with the Care Quality Commission, Coniston House is a specialist dementia care home. Carers can be assured that their relative will be receiving the best possible care from staff that are trained and qualified to manage the needs of the dementia sufferer.

Respite care can be booked for a single stay of between 2 days and 3 weeks or multiple short breaks throughout the year. This ensures continuity of care and familiar surroundings for people returning to Coniston House and helps for a relationship of trust and support to develop. Their respite service means that the transition from home to Coniston House is dealt with thoughtfully and with the needs of the dementia sufferer in mind.

Coniston House is a well equipped, welcoming and comfortable care home which is managed to the exacting standards expected of the Care Quality Commission. The staff are selected for their dedication and commitment to the care needs of the elderly and are trained specifically in dementia care.
